For as long as I can remember, February has been my least favorite month.

It’s usually cold and rainy. It can’t make up its mind on whether it wants to be 28 or 29 days long. And don’t even get me started on Valentine’s Day…

But despite a large rodent predicting six more weeks of winter, Austin has since had the hottest February in its history. So I have at least got that – and a few great books – going for me.

What I Wrote

A few blogs ago, I detailed the five steps it takes to kickstart a new novel. And I am hard at work doing just that!

I am on track to hit my goal of September 1, 2017, and I am currently writing the twelve steps of 700 Main protagonist Brie’s hero journey. The first few chapters and the ending climax are done! Onto the middle…

Now I do have other news to announce… But to be quite honest, I am still wrapping my head around it. Therefore, I will be publishing another blog – and working through my emotions – next week. And hopefully I will have some wisdom to share on the email no author wants to receive: the rejection.

Coming up March…

March is going to be a good month. I am determined. It’s the first month of spring, the month of my birthday, a full month of writing and reading. And on that note, here’s my list:
